Description

1 - ATTACHMENT 1 - STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR DLA DISTRIBUTION CHERRY POINT, NC (DDCN) IN SUPPORT OF RJ BUILDING 147 BAY C SECURITY SCREEN REPAIR 1. Background: DDCN utilizes security screens with CAC access as a means of providing security to its pilferable areas in Building 147. In Bay C the security screen is currently inoperable due to a broken solenoid and bearing. DDCN currently has this closed- off and has the contractors utilizing the east side access of the building. Due to a structural and roofing project that door will be inaccessible for an extensive period of time while work inside Bay C is being complete. DDCN submitted a service request to MCAS Cherry Point for repair but due to limit of liability on the Maintenance Services Contract (MSC), the contractor is unable to complete this repair. This PWS is designed to: a.) Replace existing rolling steel grille Gate in Building at building 147 Bay C, west side with like in kind. b.) Scope of Work: The contractor’s required actions are set forth in this PWS. 2. Description of Requirements: a. The contractor shall remove and replace the existing rolling security screen and any necessary parts to ensure proper operation of the security screen. b. The contractor shall provide all MHE required to complete the removal, replacement and disposal of the security screen. c. The contractor shall provide all labor required to complete the removal, replacement and disposal of the security screen. 3. Period of Performance: 6/15/2026-7/15/2026 4. Requirement: Remove and replace the existing security screen at building 147, Bay C, west side with like in kind security screen and dispose of the existing security screen. 5. Certification and Acceptance: The Contracting Officer (KO) or designee will monitor performance to ensure services are received and carried out in accordance with the requirements set forth in this PWS. This monitoring shall be done via Government inspections and review. The KO or designee is designated as the point of final inspection and acceptance by the Government for services required by the contract. Work performed under this work order shall minimize impact on performance of routine distribution functions. The KO or COR will monitor performance to ensure services are received and carried out IAW the requirements in this PWS. -- 1 of 1 --
