In performance of this work item, the contractor regardless of tier must comply with the requirements of all applicable GTRs including but not limited to GTRs 1 through 7, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. 5.2 Any additional deficiencies discovered, or recommendations for further repairs must be documented and submitted to the Port Engineer via a Condition Found Report (CFR). Contractor shall provide all CFRs within 24 hours of discovery, to Main TPOC, Jospeh Fader, with recommended repairs. All CFR repairs maybe addressed via over and above CLIN. 5.3 Powered industrial truck designations per 29 CFR §1910.178(b). 5.4 Per MSC QMS Procedure N4.48.4460.1-Q entitled Management of Material Handling Equipment all Afloat MHE will be certified for ordnance handling. 5.5 Charging, testing and maintenance shall not be performed in magazines or other areas/spaces where ammunition and explosives are present. 5.6 Period of performance / Location: 5.6.1 Period of performance Start: UPON AWARD 5.6.2 Period Of performance End: September 30, 2026. The contractor shall have established access and ability to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts for all repairs and shall have a facility located within a 50-mile radius of Naval Station Norfolk. 6.2 7.0 STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED 7.1 Arrangements/Outfitting 7.1.1 The contractor shall keep MHE in an secured covered facility at all times. 7.2 Structural 7.2.1 Inspect all external weldments for structural cracks or defects. If defects are found, Contractor shall reject MHE and provide a CFR within 24 hours of discovery, to Main TPOC, Joe Fader, with recommended repairs. 7.2.2 Inspect all welds and hardware on overhead guards and load backrests.
