Can the government provide the date of the last TPQEI inspections on each covered elevator?  Please see attached spreadsheet for most recent TPQEI data. 4. Is the government providing escorts where applicable, or will this cost be incurred by the contractor?  Yes, where applicable. There will be no cost incurred by the contractor. 5. Solicitation pg. 49 of 50; Factor 1, Subfactor 1: Maintenance Plan: States an Acceptable Maintenance Plan demonstrates a feasible…schedule. Is the government asking for a detailed schedule, descriptive schedule, or a sample schedule. What period of the base year should this schedule cover?  A detailed schedule will be required for Base Year and subsequent Option Years. Schedule should annotate when contractor plans to conduct inspections (Monthly Preventative Maintenance and Servicing, Annual CAT-1, Five-Year CAT-5). 6. Solicitation pg. 49 of 50; Factor 1, Subfactor 3: Qualifications and Certifications: Will copies of Qualifications and Certifications be included in the page count for Factor 1?  They are not included in the page count.  Copies of qualifications and certifications will be required for technicians to confirm technical competency. 7. PWS pg. 2 of 26; Para. 1.4: Scope: States Monthly and annual TPQEI inspections. Are there any government or third-party personnel required to be at the inspections?  Monthly preventative maintenance and service inspections will only require a licensed elevator technician (Contractor).  Annual CAT-1/Five-year CAT-5 inspections will require a third-party elevator inspector to be on site for testing/certification. 8. Does the government have a current contract with state inspector(s) or will this need to be included in the contractor pricing?  Contractors will need to include the costs associated with sourcing of inspectors in their pricing. -- 1 of 2 -- 9. PWS pg. 26 states Technical Exhibits 6 will be completed each at time of proposal and each new Option Period and submitted to contracting officer. Is Technical Exhibit 6 part of Volume II Pricing for the base year for this proposal?  No, Technical Exhibit 6 does not need to be completed at time of proposal and each Option period. Labor rates are part of Volume II pricing on the Pricing model. 10. PWS pg. 26 states Technical Exhibits 6 will be completed each at time of proposal and each new Option Period and submitted to contracting officer. Should this price include taxes and shipping & handling/freight costs?  No, Technical Exhibit 6 does not need to be completed at time of proposal and each Option period. Technical Exhibit 6 refers to labor rates/categories specifically and should not include costs for taxes, shipping & handling, or freight. 11. SOW pg. 50 of 58; Factor 2: Pricing Proposal: States the Price proposal will include a line-by-line breakout to include the total fully burdened price of all CLINs, materials and equipment costs and all applicable profit, overhead/G&A, mobilization and security costs, etc. Could the government clarify if a separate detailed line-item breakout is required for the base year and each option year; or is stating these items are to be included in the provided price schedule.  No a separate detailed line-item breakout is required for the base year and each option year. The wording is being removed from the PWS. 12. Price Schedule: Please confirm the Unit Price in the price schedule is a lump sum for one month and the Amount column is for 12 months.  The Unit Price is a lump sum, and it should be multiplied by the quantity provided for each CLIN (months, years, jobs on pg.3 of the Solicitation) and the total for each year should be in the Amount (Price Total) column. -- 2 of 2 --
