Description
Market Survey: Consolidated Elevator Maintenance at Kona & Honolulu ATCT
The Federal Aviation Administration, Western Service Area, Northwest Mountain Region, is conducting a
Market Survey to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify
capable sources. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their
qualifications and capabilities. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is
adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged
Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. This survey is being conducted in
accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support
market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only.
All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative
costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market
Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with vendor's Market Survey/Request
for Information submissions will be solely at the interested vendor's expense.
GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:
The Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services
necessary to perform Elevator Maintenance services at Kona and Honolulu Air Traffic Control Tower
(ATCT). For the elevators identified in the contract, documents must be properly maintained such that
at the end of the contract period they will be substantially in the same condition with respect to
performance, cleanliness, safety, wear, and appearance as at the beginning of the contract period for
the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Facilities as specified in the attached Appendix/Appendices.
As stated herein, when reference is made to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), defer to
the Contracting Officer (CO) when the COR is absent, unreachable, or otherwise unavailable.
The Contractor must schedule and perform all requirements listed in the Statement of Work (SOW).
Only tasks listed in the SOW are to be performed. The standards defined and the frequencies listed are
minimum standards and frequencies that must be maintained. Additionally, the Contractor is
responsible for all administrative requirements as noted herein.
The intended NAICS code is 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors
The respective Statement of Work is subject to change before the final solicitation is advertised.

locations OR in a solicitation for multiple contracts for those locations.
