Scissor Lift Repair

STATEMENT OF WORK SCISSOR LIFT REPAIR 1.0 BACKGROUND: 1.1 The purpose of this statement of work is to repair one (1) scissor lift in support of US military personnel and equipment aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, California. The scissor lift allows warehouse personnel to safely access all levels of two horizontal carousels which is done many times daily. The scissor lift has been identified during preventative maintenance (PM) services as needing to be repaired or replaced. It is imperative that the required repairs are done as soon as possible. 2.0 SCOPE / OBJECTIVES: 2.1 The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to repair the scissor lift. The Contractor shall conduct a site visit to evaluate the equipment, identify the cause of the malfunction in order to restore the scissor lift to a safe and operational condition. Upon completion of the work, the Contractor shall verify proper equipment operation and provide documentation summarizing the inspection, repairs performed, and any additional maintenance or corrective actions recommended. 3.0 CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY & TASKS 3.1 Prospective contractors are to attend a site visit at the location specified in Paragraph 5. 0 on 30 July 2026, Time 8:30 AM PST. 3.2 Contractor shall coordinate with the Government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) date & time to conduct repairs. 3.3 The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment and materials to perform the repair. 3.4 Replace scissor lift leg assembly and hydraulics (base frame, cylinders, hosing) so that the lift conforms to the manufacturers original operational standard. 3.5 Remove damaged parts and place them outside of bldg. 2251. 3.6 The contractor shall perform necessary test and troubleshooting of the lift to ensure proper operation. 3.7 The contractor is responsible for the proper disposal of all waste materials generated as part of performing work under this contract. The contractor is responsible for properly identifying hazardous waste and making proper disposal 3.8. Completed Job Inspection: This contract does not contain a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP); however, the TPOC will inspect the job for quality upon completion. Quality will be measured in accordance with the following: (i) Description Of Work (ii) Contractors quoted materials at the time of the solicitation (iii) 90-day warranty applies to all work 3.9 If the services do not conform to the contract requirements, the contractor is to re-perform the services in conformity with the contract requirements, at no additional expense to the Government Task Number Work Milestone Projected Completion Date 3.1 Site Visit 30 July 2026 3.3 Furnish Materials/Parts TBD 3.4 Installation TBD 3.8 TPOC inspection of job TBD 4.0 WORKING HOURS 4.1 Service shall be provided during normal working hours, 7:30AM through 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. The Contractor shall not work on Federal Holidays. The Contractor shall schedule and arrange work to cause the least interference with the Government business and mission and make every effort to minimize the impact of the interference, inconvenience, equipment downtime, and interrupted service, etc. 5.0 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: 5.1 Location: MCB Camp Pendleton, Ca in building 2251. 6.0 PERIOD OF PERFOMANCE 6.1 Period of performance will be determined at time of award. 7.0 CONTRACTING OFFICER AUTHORITY 171. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to approve any changes to the requirements of the contract, and not withstanding provisions contained elsewhere in this contract, the authority remains solely with the Contracting Officer. In the event the contractor effects any change at the direction of any person other than the contracting officer, the change will be considered to have been made without proper authority and not subject to payment the contractor. -- 1 of 2 -- 8.0 GOVERNMENT TECHINICAL POINT OF CONTACTS 8.1 The Contracting Officer shall designate a Government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) during the term of this contract. The TPOC will provide assistance in identification and resolution of problems, conflicts in priority, subtask requirement definitions, and other operations type problems within the scope of this Statement of Work. The TPOC will provide technical clarification and assistance in support of the contract requirements. The TPOC DOES NOT have the authority to make changes and/or give directions under this contract. The only authority under this contract authorized to make changes, give direction, and/or provide monetary adjustments is the Contracting Officer from the Regional Contracting Office MCI-WEST, Camp Pendleton CA. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure all their employees and/or subcontractors are properly registered within DBIDS. DBIDS credentials will be valid for the duration of your contract, not to exceed three years; however, re-vetting of individuals' information will occur each year. Contractors requiring access for over 60 days will receive a credential valid for up to one year. Contractors requiring access for less than 60 days will receive a temporary paper pass.
