STATEMENT OF WORK
SCISSOR LIFT REPAIR
Background
MCB Camp Pendleton utilizes horizontal carousels to store thousands of Marine Corps
equipment repair parts. The carousels are accessed multiple times daily utilizing scissor lifts
manufactured by Autoquip - see the attached. The equipment maintenance contractor has
indicated that one lift either needs to be repaired or replaced as soon as possible.
Objectives
To repair a scissor lift.
Scope
To provide and install the required parts needed to return the lift to a fully operational status.

1. Upon award, the contractor is to provide a repair start date to the TPOC once the contractor has
received the required repair parts.
2. Place Of Performance:
The job site location is aboard MCB Camp Pendleton, Ca in building 2251.
2.1 - Site Visit:
Contractors are to attend a site visit to confirm required repairs
2.2 - Furnish Materials:
The contractor will provide the materials required as indicated below:
Leg assembly and hydraulics (base frame, cylinders, hosing)
2.3 - Installation:
The contractor is to repair the scissor lift.
Contractor Responsibilities:

Remove damaged parts and place them outside of the building 2251
Install the new parts
Test the lift to ensure proper operation
Government Responsibilities:
Provide access to the building
Provide access to available power
Remove the damaged parts from the job site
2.4 - Completed Job Inspection:
The contract does not contain a Quality Assurance Survellance Plan (QASP); however, the TPOC
will inspect the job for quality upon completion. Quality will be measured in accordance with the
following:

3. Government Tecliiiical Point Of Contact:
The Contracting Officer will designate a Government Technical Point Of Contact ( TPOC)
during the term of the contract. The TPOC will provide assistance in identifying and resolving
problems and provide technical clarification and assistance in support of the contract. The TPOC
DOES NOT have the authority to make changes and/or give direction under this contract. The
only person that can authorize the above is the Contracting Office from the Regional Contracting
Office MCI- WEST, Camp Pendleton, Ca.
