Statement of Work (SOW) For Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight for XJF Compressors, Model XJF151N– Stellar Air Compressors. Dyess AFB, 7 EMS: MXMG 1.0. Description of Services. The primary objective of this statement of work is to provide an outline of process for the repair for multiple XJF Compressors, Model XJF151N. The vendor will need to receive the compressors once removed from the air conditioning units, diagnose and perform complete rebuild on the equipment with warranty. Vendor must keep the Aerospace Gound Equipment NCOIC, informed of the repair process and timeline. Additionally, if the compressor cannot be rebuilt, provide NCOIC replacement equipment options, as applicable. This is a one-time service to repair the XJF Compressors, replace internal seals, replace all gaskets, check all machine functions. 1.1 All equipment is currently located at Dyess AFB, 7EMS, Aerospace Ground Equipment, Building 5204 2nd Street Dyess AFB, 79607 1.2 The Contractor is responsible for all costs and coordination associated with shipping the equipment from Dyess AFB, TX to the Contractor's facility, as well as the return shipping of the equipment back to Dyess AFB, TX. These shipping costs shall be priced and reflected as a separate Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) as stated in the solicitation and resulting contract. - XJF Compressors, Model XJF151N - Air Conditioner Compressors X 4 1.3 Contractor shall provide supervision, personnel, and maintenance equipment, tools, and labor necessary to inspect and perform the repair on equipment noted above as prescribed throughout this SOW. The contractor shall provide all required safety equipment. All equipment discussed within this contract shall meet all OSHA, EPA and or any other applicable guidelines. All safety equipment must be used for its intended and designed purpose. Unsafe acts by the contractor will be reported to contractor supervision and the Contracting Officer and maybe grounds for contract termination. 1.2.2. The contractor shall supply all the necessary special tooling required for maintenance. 1.4. The contractor shall provide the repair or replacement of components and equipment of the XJF Compressors, Model XJF151N, S/N 10241N21252874Z 1.5. For the purpose of this SOW, the repair procedure is defined as those tasks stated and/or recommended by the specific equipment manufacturer to repair and keep the machine/equipment in a safe working order. In the absence of a manufacturer’s maintenance directive, the contractor shall use standard commercial maintenance best practices. -- 1 of 5 -- 1.6. Disposal of all filters, equipment and/or parts deemed to contain hazardous waste shall be the responsibility of the government. The use of dumpsters on Dyess AFB by the contractor is prohibited unless otherwise stated in this SOW. 2.0 Communication and Reporting Requirements 2.1 General Coordination: The Contractor shall maintain clear and consistent communication with Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) supervision and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) throughout the duration of the contract. 2.2. Delivery and Receipt: The Contractor shall coordinate and notify AGE supervision of all shipping itineraries, including the expected dates for the outbound shipment (from Dyess AFB) and the return delivery. Upon receiving the equipment at the Contractor's repair facility, the Contractor must formally notify the COR that the equipment has arrived. 2.3. Initial Inspection: Following the receipt of the equipment at their facility, the Contractor shall perform an initial inspection and teardown. The Contractor must communicate the findings of this initial inspection to the COR to verify the condition of the equipment before proceeding with the core rebuild. 2.4. Reporting Issues: If any unforeseen issues, delays, or additional damages outside the original scope of this SOW are discovered at any point, the Contractor must immediately notify the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR. No additional work that would incur extra costs shall be performed without prior written approval from the CO. 2.5. Job Completion: The Contractor shall notify AGE supervision and the COR upon the successful completion of all repairs. This notification must occur prior to packaging the equipment for return shipment to ensure the Government is prepared to receive it. 2.6. The CS/CO may either require immediate rework or schedule an appointment to re- accomplish any work accomplished that is not up to the standards of this SOW. This rework will be documented and elevated to contractor management. There shall be no additional costs to the government as any related costs will be the contractor’s responsibility. 3.0. Government Furnished-Property (GFP) 3.1. GFP Designation: The air conditioner compressors provided to the Contractor for repair under this Statement of Work are classified as Government-Furnished Property (GFP). 3.2. Use of Property: The Contractor shall use the GFP exclusively for the performance of this contract. The Contractor shall not cannibalize, modify, or alter the GFP unless explicitly authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer (CO). 3.3. Protection and Liability: The Contractor shall establish adequate internal controls to protect, preserve, and maintain the GFP while it is in their custody. The Contractor’s -- 2 of 5 -- responsibility extends from the initial receipt of the property at their facility until the repaired property is formally returned to and accepted by the Government. The Contractor shall be liable for any loss, damage, destruction, or theft of the GFP while it is in their possession. 3.4. Reporting of Loss or Damage: The Contractor shall promptly investigate and immediately report to the CO and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) any incidents of loss, damage, destruction, or theft of the GFP as soon as the facts become known. 3.5.
